Intro to Yoga

Welcome! Students with little or no experience of yoga and beginners who want to learn and/or review basic yoga practices, predominantly asana (the poses), pranayama (breathing), meditation, philosophy and chanting. If you’re curious about yoga, you can check it out in a safe, friendly environment.

Level I-II

A Beginning to Intermediate level class, appropriate for students with at least 2 months regular practice. Gain strength and flexibility of body, equanimity of mind and compassion of heart by practicing standing poses, twists, forward bends, backbends, balancings, Develop concentration and awareness through pranayama and meditation.

Level II-III

An Intermediate level class to take your practice to the next level. Practice at a moderate to vigorous pace and learn advanced poses. Increase your subtle body awareness. Cultivate steadiness and ease. Experience and learn biomechanical principles and energy anatomy. Six months regular class experience or private practice recommended.

All Levels

Roll out of bed and into a class designed to boost your energy and open your body up in new ways. Mindful movement in the morning can have a profound effect on your energy level and over-all sense of well-being for the rest of the day. Increase your flexibility, strength and coordination, all before that first cup of coffee! This class will help you work out the weekday kinks and warm up for weekend skiing, hiking, gardening, or guiltless channel surfing.

Gentle Yoga

Take it easy. Great for seniors, recovering over-achievers, injured athletes and reforming couch potatoes. Class size limited to 10 students. Explore the therapeutic, healing benefits of yoga in this gently paced, integrated movement class. No experience necessary.

YogaKids I®

For children ages 6 – 10, this class will exercise bodies, minds, hearts and spirits. Yoga poses, creative games, and exercises offer a well-rounded experience.

NEW! Early Bird Yoga

Start the day with this all-levels class and get into the flow. The series requires a 2-day/week advance registration to hold your place.
